Galax, VA (September 14, 2022) -- Moog Inc. is pleased to announce the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Galax, Virginia. With the increased demand for printed circuit boards (PCBs), this larger facility can now accommodate increased production schedules. The company held a grand opening on September 12, 2022.
The 28,700 square foot space is located at 115 Jack Guynn Drive. This expansion significantly increases the space of the original building, which Moog has occupied since 1995. The expanded operations include a manufacturing area, lab space, testing environments, engineering and customer support areas. The site manufactures and assembles rigid and flexible printed circuit boards and other proprietary hardware.
“It is exciting to have this larger space to continue development of our standard and specialty PCBs. We have added the latest technology for developing products, as well as new equipment which allows us to better serve our customer’s needs,” said Travis Belton, General Manager at the Galax operations.

The site in Galax is part of Moog’s Power and Data sector, which has operations in Blacksburg, Virginia, Johnson City, Tennessee, and Reading, England. As this business unit continues to grow, with it comes the addition of highly skilled technical jobs. The Galax business serves customers in the electronics, communications and military industry segments.
