East Aurora, NY (October 4, 2022) – Moog Inc. (NYSE: MOG.A and MOG.B) will highlight multi-domain, mission-critical solutions to an expected audience of over 33,000 industry professionals at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting and Exposition 2022 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. Moog will host visitors in Booth 6313 from October 10-12. Featured in the Moog booth will be its Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform (RIwP®), high-speed and tactical control surface actuators engineered for precision missile steering, various slip rings designed for transferring power and high speed data, and motion control products. Also on display will be Moog’s Hybrid Electric HE350 Air Vehicle.
The RIwP display will feature a 30mm gun, a dual Stinger Vehicle Universal Launcher (SVUL) configuration, and a new turreted Directed Energy (DE) capability which will address the full spectrum of short-range air threats. This configuration provides a unique lethality mix with gun, missile, and DE effectors on a single weapons platform. The platform and weapon-agnostic RIwP provides industry leading capability to host maximum lethality missile payloads while increasing warfighter survivability with the ability to reload direct fire weapons under the protection of armor.
Moog’s AUSA booth will also feature Moog’s missile, spacecraft, and launch vehicle interactive display which allows visitors to explore innovative solutions supporting stages one, two, and three of hypersonic missiles and interceptors. Moog provides precision steering controls for the missile market across hypersonic and long-range ballistic missiles, tactical and strike systems, long-range standoff systems, as well as air and missile defense systems. Capabilities include power systems, propulsion systems, avionics, and integrated solutions, enabling warfighters across all stages of the offensive strike and defensive intercept missions.
Moog’s Power and Data products will showcase high-performance slip rings and motion control solutions. Moog will have a dynamic demonstrator which shows how individual components are integrated into a robust gimbal assembly. The gimbal is designed to be rugged and compact while simplifying installation into the customer’s system. Moog gimbals support various payloads.
AUSA 2022 brings the U.S. defense industry and key military decision-makers together for informative educational sessions and important policy discussions over the course of three days. It is the largest land power exposition in North America.
