2-Way Slip-in Cartridge Valves Directional Function, Position Monitored

2-Way position monitored Slip-in Cartridge Valve are cartridge valves with an integrated monitoring function. The position switch indicates the closed valve position.

These valves can be used for safety functions and have a certificate of approval from the German Accident Prevention and Insurance Association DGUV Test for all sizes.

Moog offers two types of position monitored cartridge valves: Standard cartridge valves (CSE series) and actively operated valves (RSE series).

2-Way Slip-in Cartridge Valves, Actively Operated - Position Monitored - RSE Series

These valves have similar to our CHE valve series all advantages of an active cartridge, so they provide two dedicated control areas, one for opening and one for closing the poppet. This enables a more robust control of directional functions for high speed and high response machines where low system pressure can delay closing times.

As a difference to the CHE series active cartridge, they have a special poppet with overlap to guarantee the specific behavior in the opening point of the cartridge valve. The come with an integrated position switch to monitor the closed valve position.
