914-SPLIT
Fiber Optic Splitter
The 914-SPLIT card is a 1 x 2 fiber optic splitter available in a standard 914-X series credit card size form-factor. When combined with a 914-FOS fiber optic switch, they create a redundant fiber optic path for multiplexer systems and other optical data links.
The 914-SPLIT is a passive fiber optics card typically installed at the remote end of the fiber optic link. The 914-SPLIT will split all optical communications from one fiber onto two fibers for redundancy.
