Moog Expertise Supports RCH 155 – One of the World’s Most-Advanced Barrelled Artillery Systems and a Key Element for Future Joint Operations

To support superior performance Moog was chosen to supply motion control and automation technologies for the RCH 155. Multiple Moog European facilities are delivering high-performance gun actuation technology to KNDS. Deliverables include among other items, the speed stabilized Turret Drive System (TDS). Customers depend on our design, development and manufacturing of drives and electronics as well as our system integration capabilities. Moog is a key enabler of RCH 155 capability as the world’s first ever speed-stabilized howitzer.

Moog High-Performance Gun Turret Technologies Enable CV90 Specialist Variants

Moog proven gun turret drive systems have enabled multiple specialist variants of the BAE Systems Hägglunds AB CV90 family of combat vehicles for three decades. From the CV90120 known for its exceptional firepower, to the world’s most capable infantry fighting vehicle in service: the CV9035 IFV, to the CV9030 IFV which is leading the way into the future, Moog technologies continue to support the versatile CV90 vehicle variants with bespoke drives and controllers designed and manufactured from Moog Germany and Moog Ireland Operations.

“We are honored Moog was selected to provide the gun drive systems for CV90 variants fielded in Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark, and Estonia,” noted Jason Weiss, Land Systems Director at Moog Inc. “Moog looks forward to continuing the supply of these capable systems for vehicles planned for use in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Sweden and other contested countries.”
