Emily Calvanese is the General Manager for Moog’s Structures and Motion Control Business Unit and Mountain View, CA site and has been with Moog since 1998. She has a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from University of California, Davis and a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from San Jose State University. Emily is proud to be putting Moog’s corporate values into practice as both a member of the global Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility Council and as the Executive Sponsor for Moog’s LGBTQUI+ Employee Resource Group. She is thrilled to be a mentor for the New Generation Space Leaders at this year’s Space Symposium.

Located in Uppsala, Sweden, Unibap is a key technology partner for Moog's advanced avionics and computing solutions. Their successful on-orbit heritage for GPU-based products has been integral in Moog’s development of radiation-tolerant, high-performance, Space VPX GPU solutions. Moog has leveraged Unibap’s expertise on commercial missions, D-Orbit flights, and upcoming ESA/NASA opportunities to provide solutions for space-based architectures needed for artificial intelligence and machine learning applications.
