Oilfield - Downhole Slip Rings

Moog slip ring designs are available for harsh oilfield conditions and can be configured for electrical power, signals, or both. These designs can be integrated with other products such as fiber optic rotary joints and fluid rotary unions. Moog has also developed processes and test equipment to ensure our products perform reliably both at the surface and in the deepest, most challenging wells. Typical use cases:

  • Top drives
  • Coil tubing
  • Winches
  • Measuring / logging while drilling
  • Wire lining
  • Downhole tools
